Available activities

Horse ride
Before the ride begins, our guide will give an introduction to the nature of a horse and how to ride “gaucho style” where only one hand is used. So, no matter if you are a beginner without any experience, here you will learn how to ride a horse.

Our Creole white horses, of the Patagonian breed, will take you to explore the pampas, the southern beech forest and the coast of the Última Esperanza Fjord. Then you will go to the viewpoint of the Balmaceda Glacier, where you will find a beautiful view of the fjord, the estancia and the mountains. Before returning, you will enjoy bird watching along the coast.

4×4 off-road traction
This is an excellent option for those who are looking for a panoramic tour without having to make too much physical effort. You will be able to enjoy the comfort of traveling inside a Land Rover 4×4, which will follow a dirt road from the main house and along the coast.

You will take advantage of the various stops along the way to observe the local flora and fauna, in addition to taking beautiful photographs. At the end of the trip, you will pass through an archaeological site where the ancient Kawésqar lived and the guide will explain more about their life, about the shell and its functionality.

Guided walk and bird watching
We offer a variety of walks depending on your fitness level. The classic route winds along the coastline passing through wetlands and native forests, which are home to a variety of wildlife.

Birds such as condors, eagles, flamingos, geese and swans are often seen on the first steps. The overpopulation of rabbits in the area gives many birds of prey an ample food supply, which attracts a variety of species to the estancia. Our expert guide will be equipped with books and binoculars to guarantee you the best experience.

Relaxing time at the estancia
Jet lagged or tired from the day before? Feel free to curl up on one of our comfortable sofas to enjoy the scenery, sip on fine Chilean wine, or browse our collection of books.

You can also walk around the ranch and take photos of the stables, corrals, barn and the beautiful Magellanic sheepdogs. This is the perfect option if you want a relaxing day and time to absorb the beauty of the landscape and nature.
