HOTEL \u2013 MOLLEPATA (BREAKFAST AND LUNCH) SORAYPAMPA \u2013 LAKE HUMANTAY \u2013 LUNCH \u2013 CUSCO<\/p>\n
The professional mountain guide will pick you up from your hostel or hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 approximately, you must tell the tour company the location of your stay one day before departure and you will have to wait for your trek to the Humantay Lake<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The temperature during the first hours of the tour to reach Humantay Lake<\/strong> is cold (5 to 9 \u00b0 C) so you need to bring a sweater, jacket, hat and gloves. This will keep you comfortable during this travel time to Mollepata<\/strong>. After 2 hours you will arrive at Mollepata<\/strong> where you will stop for breakfast and you will be able to get the last things you could have forgotten to buy in Cusco<\/strong> such as water, snacks or others.<\/p>\n After breakfast there is another 1 hour in the transport to Soraypampa<\/strong>. When you arrive in this area you will be able to see the beautiful mountains and snow-capped mountains such as Salkantay<\/strong> (6,230 meters above sea level) and Humantay<\/strong> (5,250 meters above sea level). Then they will get ready and take their small backpack to start the walk to Lake Humantay<\/strong> for approximately 1 hour or 3 km. The road to Humantay Lake<\/strong> is steep however the small groups and the guide take the time to enjoy and reach the Humantay Lake<\/strong> without pressure.<\/p>\n After enjoying your first view of Lake Humantay<\/strong> there is an option to walk a short climb to the right or left side of the lagoon where you can enjoy a panoramic view. They will arrive in Cusco<\/strong> between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. approximately.<\/p>\n What to bring to Humantay Lake:<\/strong> Consult the contracting conditions<\/span> of the Humantay Lagoon<\/strong> excursion.<\/p>\n
\nNext, they will have the easy part of their walk. They will have to go down to SorayPampa<\/strong> for 1 hour.
