Upon arrival at Lima airport, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. You will spend the night in Lima.<\/p>\n
We will begin the day with the Colonial and Modern City Tour of Lima. The exploration will include a panoramic view at the Huaca Pucllana, an ancient pre-Inca temple. Later, we will visit the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Monastery and the Church of San Francisco, with special emphasis on the underground Catacombs. We will also visit the residential areas of Miraflores and San Isidro. Return to the hotel with free afternoon. You will spend the night in Lima.<\/p>\n
In the morning, we will transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival at Cusco airport, you will receive a warm welcome and be transferred to your hotel. You will enjoy the morning free to rest and acclimatize. In the afternoon, we will embark on the City Tour of Cusco, visiting the Cathedral and the Temple of Koricancha, an ancient military and religious center of the Inca Empire dedicated to the main god, the Sun. We will continue exploring the nearby archaeological remains, such as the Sacsayhuaman fortress, the Kenko amphitheater, Tambomachay (Inca baths) and Puca Pucara (military control center). Return to the hotel to spend the night in Cusco.<\/p>\n
Today we will visit the Inca City of Machupicchu. We will board the train to Aguas Calientes, passing through Ollantaytambo (3 and a half hours of train travel). Then, we will take the bus that will take us to the sacred city, discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. The guided tour will include the urban sector, highlighting the Temple of the Sun, the Intiwatana, the sacred rock, the temple of the three windows and the mausoleum, among others. We will return by bus to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we will return to Cusco with reception and transfer to the hotel. You will spend the night in Cusco.<\/p>\n
At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the Cusco airport to board the return flight to Lima and later your international flight.<\/p>\n
