Go through the two most fascinating faces of Patagonia, its historical facet through a tour of the capital of the Magallanes region and the Chilean Antarctica and its natural face. You will learn about the cultural and heritage diversity at the architectural level of the city of Punta Arenas. On the other hand, you will enjoy the wonderful Torres del Paine Park which contemplates a cinematographic landscape made up of lakes, rivers, waterfalls, mountains, which together with its diverse native flora and fauna make up the eighth wonder of the world.

Accommodation in the cities of Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas

You will stay at the Hotel Costaustralis in the city of Puerto Natales. Includes accommodation in this hotel known for providing one of the most privileged views of the entire city, with beautiful sunrises and magical nights thanks to the magnificent scenery that regional nature gives us. You will stay at the Cabo de Hornos Hotel in the city of Punta Arenas, known for being located in the center and historic center of the city and close to the most impressive views of the Strait of Magellan.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival and welcome to Puerto Natales

Day 2 – Tour Torres del Paine National Park

Full day tour. Your tour begins with a visit to the millenary Cueva del Milodón and continues with a complete tour of the flora, fauna and geology of Torres del Paine National Park. Between llamas and condors, you will be able to appreciate the impressive views of Sarmiento Lagoon, Lake Nordenskjöld and Salto Grande Cascade that lie below the high peaks of the Paine Massif, such as las Torres, Almirante Nieto, los Cuernos and Paine Grande. After lunch, there is a short walk along the beach of Lake Grey where you can admire the glacier and the weather that sail up to the same shore.

Day 3 – Free day (optional excursions)

Free day to optionally carry out the activity or taste tour. From Puerto Natales, a large number of alternatives are offered, such as navigation – between birds and flora – to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, resort tourism, horseback riding and kayaks for more adventurers, special fly fishing activities and bird watching simply walk along the streets of Puerto Natales among its picturesque restaurants, bars, shops and typical architecture.

Day 4 – City Tour Punta Arenas

City Tour where you can soak up the cultural and historical heritage of Punta Arenas. The tour begins with a tour of the Plaza de Armas, the monument to Hernando de Magallanes and the beautiful palaces that surround it, testimonies of the European colonization of the 19th century. The tour continues at the viewpoint of “Cerro de la Cruz” from where you will be able to have a magnificent view of the southernmost city in the world between its colorful technologies and the grandeur of the Strait of Magallanes.

In addition, you will get to know the most emblematic monuments and spaces in the city, such as the cementerium, the monument to the ovejero, the Croatian plaza and Antoine de Saint Exupery for the purpose of ending with a visit to the museum with information on our aboriginals, flora, fauna and colonization of Patagonia .
