Description

Dare to see, feel and live the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier

This unmissable experience begins in the “Bajo de las sombras” Port, within the Los Glaciares National Park. There we will take a boat to cross the Brazo Rico, to the west coast. Once we arrive at the refuge, the guides will receive us to give us some details of the activity.

We will form groups of up to 20 people, to take a 20-minute walk to the glacier to begin the frozen adventure.

Upon reaching the glacier, we will put on the crampons necessary to walk on the ice to avoid slipping. Afterwards we will carry out warm-up movements and an interesting glaciology talk.

Once ready, we will enter the mini-trekking on the glacier, where we will be able to appreciate crevasses, seracs, sinkholes, small lagoons and more.
The walk is of moderate difficulty and is carried out on an irregular but firm and safe ice surface

After the trekking, we will return to the refuge through the Magellanic forest. In this place you can rest and enjoy a privileged view of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Once the rest is over, we will begin the return through the Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino, sailing in front of the glacier.

Observation: The start time of the activity can be between 7 and 16hrs. The schedule will be confirmed once we deliver the itinerary.
