After a brief rest at the Chileno Refuge, you’ll face the final, most challenging stretch, culminating at the Base Torres viewpoint. From here, you’ll come face-to-face with the impressive Torres del PaineCentral, Monzino, and Dagostini — along with the Peineta and Nido de Cóndores peaks, forming one of the world’s most iconic landscapes.

If you’re lucky, you’ll witness the thunderous calving of the glacier, listening to its rumble and watching icefalls tumble in a unique natural spectacle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Rebel Viajes is not responsible for additional costs due to reservation modifications or cancellations, nor for additional expenses incurred due to losses or delays in passenger transportation, whether by land, sea, air, or lake.

Rebel Viajes is not responsible for cancellations due to unforeseen events or force majeure, and in this case, the passenger will not be reimbursed.

Rebel Viajes is also not responsible for the loss of documents or personal belongings during trips or on specific program dates.

It is each passenger’s responsibility to undergo a preventive medical checkup prior to any activity, excursion, trekking, etc., to ensure their health is in good condition and compatible with the activity they will be participating in. During the dates of the program, if the passenger should withdraw from the trip before the end of it, whatever the cause, no refund will be made.

Rebel Viajes is not responsible for accidents on the way to or on the trails or in places unrelated to the contracted service. Any liability that may fall on Rebel Viajes must be accredited by court ruling.

While Rebel Viajes indicates the distances and difficulty levels of all hiking trails in its programs, it is the passenger’s responsibility to read and understand their limitations and bring the appropriate equipment for optimal performance. At the same time, it is the duty of the passengers to find out from CONAF about the opening and closing times of the trails and the internal regulations of the Torres del Paine National Park.

Passengers are required to keep their documentation up-to-date and have the necessary permits and visas to cross borders.
Rebel Viajes does not provide refunds or assume responsibility for passenger expenses if they need to be rescued or if, for any reason, they need to abandon the trip early.

Rebel Viajes is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the passenger if the trip is delayed due to weather conditions, strikes, theft, acts of nature, civil unrest, terrorism, acts of war, government restrictions or regulations, failure of any type of transportation upon arrival or departure from the program, or any reason over which Rebel Viajes has no direct control.

Rebel Viajes rejects the sexual and commercial exploitation of children, adolescents, and minors, and is committed to reporting, detecting, and training its staff in the prevention of any tourism activity or third-party services involving minors.

Rebel Viajes is not responsible for cancellations, modifications or no shows due to the impossibility of arrivals or access to refuges or campsites due to external causes, such as weather problems, road closures, natural phenomena, problems with air connections, transfer delays. o Do not sail boats and / or catamarans, social or political demonstrations or other problems derived from them, or any other factor beyond the will and control of Rebel Viajes, such as accidents or illnesses, before or during your visit to Torres del Paine. For such eventualities, the hiring of travel insurance by passengers is suggested.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Rebel Viajes strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellation costs due to weather conditions and force majeure, as well as accident insurance appropriate to the activities to be undertaken.

This insurance must cover personal accidents, repatriation expenses and any other fees that may occur due to damages, losses, injuries, delays or any other unexpected inconvenience that may be experienced during the trip.

It is suggested that, when contracting travel insurance, the insurer be informed of the type of trip that will take place, since not all insurances include adventure tourism activities, which may be included in the itinerary of your program.

HEALTH REPORT AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Passengers are required to report any health issues when booking their trip, to determine whether they are able to participate in the activity or if they require any additional support.

In the case of guided programs, the group leader or guide reserves the right to request that a passenger leave the program because he is not fit to do it or that he may pose a risk to himself and / or the rest of the group. In his opinion, the passenger may be asked not to continue with his trip if for any situation or circumstance the person is not physically or mentally capable of continuing with the activity or does not follow the instructions. In such circumstances, there will be no refund. Due to the geographical difficulty that can prevent access to medical care and hospitals due to health problems, Rebel Viajes is not responsible for the delivery of medical care at any time during the trip.
