Enjoy a different activity in the heart of the city of El Calafate
We will begin this half-day excursion at 5:30 pm where we will pick you up at the hotels and start the journey to 25 de Mayo Ranch. Once we arrive at the ranch, we will be welcomed with some delicious fried cakes and we will meet the guides who will tell us the history of the ranch, all about the first settlers, how their activities were carried out in the 20th century, and we will enjoy a typical demonstration of sheep herding with dogs.
After this demonstration, we will take a short walk around the area, along the Arroyo Calafate, while we visit the old shearing shed and the corrals.
To finish our tour of the ranch, we will stop at the restaurant “El Quincho” to enjoy dinner. (Subject to availability and options)
Starter: empanada criolla and an appetizer; main course (grilled Patagonian lamb with chorizo, blood sausage and organic garden salad); dessert is your choice.
At the restaurant, you can also enjoy a folkloric show featuring typical Argentine dances.
At around 10:30 pm, we will begin our return journey to the hotels in the city center of El Calafate.
