Description
Enjoy three activities on the same day: Condor Viewpoint, Caves and Sierra Señoret
We will begin our activity, looking for you at the hotels in Puerto Natales, and at 9:00 a.m. we will start our way to Sofía Lagoon.
Once we arrive at Sofía Lagoon, we will receive an introductory safety talk and they will give us our horse partner for the activity.
We will begin the ride that will last approximately 18 kilometers and about 6 hours, where we will visit different iconic points of Patagonia.
First we will pass through the summit of the Condor Viewpoint (alt. 514 mts.) where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the ranch: Puerto Natales, Última Esperanza Fjord, Sierra Dorotea; and all the splendor of Sofía Lagoon, Cordillera Prat, native flora and fauna of Patagonia. An important colony of condors lives here.
Sofia Lagoon is a place of unparalleled natural beauty, with impressive landscapes of mountains, lakes and forests. During the ride, you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the lagoon and the local flora and fauna.
Then we will continue to the caves where important archaeological finds and remains of the ancient megafauna that lived in the area have been found, highlighting the saber-toothed tiger, the giant sloth or mylodon, and the remains of a 10,000-year-old campfire.
If you are a nature lover, this is a unique opportunity to explore and discover the beauty of Magallanes in a unique and exciting way. In addition, our guides will share knowledge about the history and culture of the region.
And finally, we will climb the Sierra Señoret and its viewpoint, where you can appreciate the Última Esperanza fjord, the landscape of hills of the Patagonian Andes, and the Prat Mountain Range, and some wonderful skies furrowed by condors.
Then we will return to the meeting point and we will return to Puerto Natales where we will be arriving at approximately 4:00 p.m.
No previous horseback riding experience is necessary, you just have to be willing to have fun and enjoy the fresh air and beauty of nature.
