We will begin our incredible journey by heading towards the majestic Pacific Ocean, where we will embark on a unique adventure sailing through the impressive Chacao Channel. Along the way, we will make a stop in Chacao, a charming town that has preserved its essence since the time of the Spanish conquest, offering us a fascinating look at the history of the region.
Puñihuil, Humboldt and Magellanic Penguins
Continuing our tour, we will head towards the iconic Puñihuil. This natural sanctuary is protected and is considered a true paradise for bird watching lovers. Get ready to witness an impressive spectacle! In this unique place in the world, Humboldt and Magellanic penguins coexist in harmony, nesting next to each other. It will be an unforgettable experience if luck is with us to see these adorable creatures in their natural habitat.
Ancud: history, myths and legends
Our adventure does not end there, we will head back to Ancud, a city with a rich cultural heritage. At this stop, we will explore the historic Fort of San Antonio, an imposing structure that will immerse us in the past. In addition, we will visit the fascinating Local Museum, which houses a collection of interesting local legends and myths. And for lovers of art and crafts, the local market will be a must-see stop, where they can find unique treasures and take home unforgettable memories of this tour.
Finally we will return to our starting point in Puerto Varas.
