Full day Torres del Paine from Puerto Natales: get to know the landscape of the eighth wonder of the world with comfort and convenience

We begin our Full Day Torres del Paine excursion by picking up our passengers at their hotel or place of accommodation in the city of Puerto Natales. To then head towards the Torres del Paine National Park in the direction of the Laguna Amarga Porteria, passing before the Sarmiento Lake viewpoint where you can already enjoy the wonderful view offered by the granite towers that give the Park its name.

We will continue along the path that takes us to the Salto Grande Waterfall, enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Nordenskjöld, which owes its name to the Swedish Otto Nordenskjöld who discovered the lake at the beginning of the 20th century.

We continue our excursion through the Torres del Paine National Park and then head to the Salto Grande sector, in this place is where the glaciers of the Paine River discharge their mighty waters. We will be able to observe the particular flora and fauna that characterize the place, admiring the impressive views offered by the Paine Macizo while we advance towards the Camping Pehoé sector.

From there we will have another perspective of the Paine Macizo and the Cuernos del Paine, if cloudy conditions allow it.

Then we will take a break to have your box lunch or buy some food in the cafeteria of the sector, enjoying the beautiful views that Torres del Paine Park offers us.

Walk through Lago Grey beach sector

The Full Day Torres del Paine continues in the Lago Grey sector where we will take a short walk of approximately 20 minutes to reach the shore of Lago Grey.

In total we cover around 3 km through easily accessible terrain. Regardless of this, the walk is optional for those who do not want to or do not feel in a position to do it.

At the end of the tour, we leave the Torres del Paine National Park through the Serrano Gate, we will arrive at the Lago del Toro viewpoint. From there, we have another spectacular view of the lake and the Paine Mountain Range, as well as the Paine Macizo.

We will continue enjoying the road towards Puerto Natales appreciating the amazing views of Laguna Sofía, Cordillera Prat, Cerro Mesa, Sierra del Toro and Cerro Ballena. In the almost 2 hours of travel, until our last stop: the famous Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument.

Milodon Cave

There we will visit the largest cave of a set of three caves, which inside hold more than 100 years of history and the remains of prehistoric animals. In this place, remains of the herbivorous mammal Mylodon Darwini, an animal of the Pilosa order that includes anteaters, tamanduas and sloths, were found. According to experts, the Milodon probably became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene.

We finish our tour in the Full Day Torres del Paine excursion to leave our passengers in their respective hotels and places of accommodation.
