Description
Live the excitement of discovering ancestral trails, challenging the grandeur of the Inacayal Waterfall and conquering the steep ascent to the False Edge Belvedere. From the summit, each step will provide you with panoramas that will leave you speechless: lakes, mountains and a landscape that unfolds to infinity.
Our exciting journey begins in the charming heart of Villa La Angostura, where we will meet you in transport vehicles that will take you to our starting point. From there, we will enter a secret place, a path that will leave you breathless.
We depart from the charming Barrio Norte, walking through the picturesque streets until we reach the parking lot prepared by the Mapuche community. Here, while our friendly driver looks after the vehicle, our experienced guide gives us an introductory talk full of safety tips and exciting details about the hike ahead.
Once prepared and full of enthusiasm, we began our walk following the path towards the False Edge Belvedere. The zigzag ascent takes us along an old road that used to be passable.
On the way to the Viewpoint, a sign shows us the detour to the Inacayal Waterfall, a spectacular waterfall that is accessed through a path between reeds and thick forest. The visit to the waterfall takes us less than an hour to walk and is perfectly combined with the visit to the Belvedere Viewpoint, which we will explore upon our return.
After a well-deserved rest, we continued along a narrower and steeper path, ascending gently but steadily through the forest.
As we move forward, we face the challenge with determination, knowing that the top is closer than it seems. The view from the top is impressive, with lakes Correntoso and Nahuel Huapi stretching out before us, along with the majestic Inacayal hills and the Cajón Negro valley.
The descent is faster, but it is important to conserve energy to enjoy the beautiful trail that takes us to the Belvedere Viewpoint, where we can admire the panoramic views of Lake Nahuel Huapi and the picturesque bridge over Route 231.
Finally, we return to the starting point, where our transportation is waiting to take us back to Villa La Angostura, with indelible memories of this unforgettable adventure.
