Description

One of the essential experiences in the south of Argentina! The Arrayanes Forest trail crosses from one end to the other of the island that is part of the Los Arrayanes National Park and is accessible from Villa La Angostura. It is equipped with wooden walkways that make the main route easy to navigate.

Our day begins at 9 in the morning on Arrayanes Avenue, right in front of the Arrayán Pastry Shop, where you can enjoy a delicious coffee accompanied by exquisite crescents from the pastry shop.

We will head to the isthmus in our guided transportation, a journey of approximately 15 minutes that will immerse us in the local history of the historic center of Villa La Angostura.

Upon arriving at the starting point of our adventure, our guide will share recommendations and a brief historical overview of the place. We will begin the journey ascending towards the viewpoints, the first 800 meters being the most challenging. From the Mirador Brazo Norte and the Mirador Bahía Manza, you will have impressive views of Brava and Manza bays.

After capturing these landscapes in photographs, we will continue our 11-kilometer walk along a trail full of native flora and fauna. Before reaching the myrtle forest, we will make a stop at the Hua Huan Lagoon, a protected reserve of sootlings, an endangered species.
The next stop will be at Laguna Patagua, a paradisiacal place where we will enjoy lunch, a well-deserved rest and spectacular views. Then we will enter the myrtle forest, exploring its trails accompanied by our expert guides, who will share stories and respect for nature.

We conclude our walk at the Tea House, where our guide will share a rich history while you enjoy a coffee or chocolate with a delicious artisanal alfajor.

We will descend towards the bay to board a catamaran that will take us back to the port of Villa La Angostura. Before returning, we will visit the forest viewpoint and unique beaches with rocks and myrtles. An unforgettable experience that will remain engraved in your mind!

The return trip across Lake Nahuel Huapi will be calm and comfortable, offering impressive views of the bays and the Andes. The boat has a terrace on top so you can enjoy the natural environment even more.

Throughout the trip, our local guides will be available to answer your questions. And as a special final touch, you can take a photo on the boat, captured by expert photographers, which you will receive instantly.

We will disembark in Puerto Bahía Manza, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to the center of the town.
