Place that also stands out for housing the culture and vestiges of the Kawésqar or Alacalufe ethnic groups.

With this navigation through the canals of Última Esperanza, you will be able to appreciate the flora and fauna of this beautiful place. In addition, obviously, to arrive in front of the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers. Undoubtedly, a unique and remarkable experience in Patagonia.

Set sail towards the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers

Our excursion begins with the departure from the city of Puerto Natales to start a navigation that will take us to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers located in the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. We will begin the navigation through the interior of the Última Esperanza Estuary. Place where we will visualize the Guanacos Island, Cascadas de los Cóndores and the beautiful Balmaceda Glacier, which will be the first glacier that we will be able to contemplate.

In addition, we will appreciate the wonderful landscape that surrounds us. It is possible to see birds such as some condors and the marine fauna, such as sea lions that above all are in charge of making us the most picturesque journey. We will first arrive at the Balmaceda Glacier to later view the Serrano Glacier to disembark in the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. A path of approximately 1 km will take us to the base of the Serrano Glacier, bordering the Témpanos lagoon and crossing a native forest of coigües, ñirres and ciruelillos. In this place we can take photos and admire the enormous mass of ice, but not before enjoying a cocktail with ancient ice.

During the excursion we will visit a typical Patagonian ranch where you will enjoy a delicious Patagonian lunch.
